Terms of Service

Last updated 28 October 2026

These terms apply to your use of Retracer at retracer.fun. Retracer is run by the operator named in the Impressum ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Retracer you agree to these terms. How we handle personal data is explained in our Privacy Policy.

1. What Retracer is

Retracer is a trading journal. It reads public blockchain data for wallets you add, turns it into trades, and gives you charts, analytics, a journal, an AI coach and optional public profiles and community features. Retracer is free to use. We may add, change or remove features at any time.

2. Who can use it

You must be at least 18 and allowed to use a service like this where you live.

3. Your account

  • Keep your sign-in details safe. You're responsible for what happens in your account.
  • An account is for one person. Don't share it or create accounts to get around limits or a suspension.

4. Wallets

  • Retracer only reads public blockchain data. It never holds your funds and can't move them. We will never ask for your private key or seed phrase, or ask you to sign a transaction. Anyone who does is not us.
  • Verifying a wallet means signing a message, which costs nothing and moves nothing. Only verify wallets you control. Verified wallets are what back your public stats, so verifying someone else's wallet, or trying to, is not allowed.

5. Not financial advice

Everything in Retracer, including stats, charts, "what if I held" figures, leaderboards, community posts and the AI coach's answers, is for information and self-review only. None of it is financial, investment, tax or legal advice. Trading memecoins and other crypto assets is extremely risky, and you can lose everything you put in. Your trading decisions are yours alone.

6. Accuracy

We work hard to get your numbers right, but blockchain data is complex and comes partly from third parties. Trades, P&L, fees, prices, market caps and charts can be incomplete, delayed or wrong. Don't rely on Retracer for tax filings or anything that needs exact figures without checking them yourself.

7. Community rules

If you use public features (profile, posts, comments), you agree not to:

  • scam, phish, or promote fraudulent or misleading schemes;
  • pretend to be someone else, or misrepresent your results;
  • harass, threaten or abuse others, or post hateful content;
  • post spam, or paid promotion without saying it's paid;
  • share other people's private information;
  • post anything illegal or that infringes someone else's rights.

We may remove content and limit or suspend accounts that break these rules. Report a post or profile by emailing fred.ilik.fred05@gmail.com.

8. Your content

What you write and upload stays yours. You give us the right to store, process and display it as needed to run Retracer, and to show it publicly where you choose to make it public. This right ends when you delete the content or your account, apart from copies others already shared outside Retracer.

9. Fair use

Don't overload, scrape, reverse-engineer or attack the service, or get around its usage limits (for example on wallets per account, history imported, or AI coach answers per day).

10. Ending

You can stop using Retracer at any time and ask us to delete your account by emailing fred.ilik.fred05@gmail.com. We may suspend or close accounts that seriously or repeatedly break these terms. We may also shut Retracer down; if we do, we'll give reasonable notice where we can.

11. Liability

Retracer is provided free of charge. We are fully liable for damage caused intentionally or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and under the German Product Liability Act. For slight negligence we are liable only for breaches of essential obligations (obligations that make proper use of the service possible at all and that you may regularly rely on), and then only for damage that was typical and foreseeable. Otherwise our liability is excluded. In particular, we aren't liable for trading losses or for decisions you make based on information in Retracer. These limits also apply to our representatives and helpers.

12. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms, for example when features change. We'll tell you about significant changes in the app or by email in good time. If you keep using Retracer after a change takes effect, the new terms apply. If you don't agree, you can stop using it and delete your account.

13. Law

German law applies, excluding the UN Convention on Contracts for the International Sale of Goods. If you're a consumer living in another EU country, you keep the protection of the mandatory consumer laws of that country. If any part of these terms is invalid, the rest stays in effect.
